Check back in the future, though, as we'll be looking for candidates to participate in our future training program geared towards expanding our services into Argentina, Chile, and Peru. If you're proficient in English and Spanish, and fit the requirement description below, keep this page bookmarked!
In an effort to expand our services to our South American neighbors, we're looking at you, Brazil.

- IT

Selected candidates will have the opportunity to participate in a two-year training course at our facilities in Salisbury, North Carolina. There, they will be trained under Extorque's exclusive in-house methodologies, and, along with their existing expertise, assist Extorque in developing the most effective marketing strategies for our cryptographic services as possible. At the conclusion of this two-year program, they will have the opportunity to lead the marketing of our future expansion facilities in Brazil, and assist us in selecting a Brazilian team of marketers and cryptographers, to train in Extorque's methodologies, after which they will market and provide Extorque's cryptographic services.
Cryptographic design has, arguably, the best track record out of all layers of the security onion, so to speak. Unfortunately, when we take the mathematical theory and try to implement in practice, things often go horribly wrong; it's no surprise that when cryptography fails in practice, it's almost always because of an implementation fluke, and not because of the cryptography itself. Much of this is due to the fact that developers aren't cryptographers, nor can we expect them to be. They simply lack the cryptographic knowledge necessary to establish the right threat models, let alone address it properly.
At Extorque, we aim to fix this, or at least do our fair share of fixing. We work alongside developers, educating them on the tools available to them in their cryptographic toolbox, how to correctly and securely use them, and when and where they need to use them. Our services are founded on the principles of getting the best security out of mature and minimalist cryptographic engineering, but these services are of little use, if we can't effectively reach developers - our potential clients. That's why we need you.
We focus on building comprehensive services, and we need someone to build a comprehensive marketing and advertising plan for spreading the word about how these services can give our potential clients just what they would expect from a cryptographic service: the know-how and expertise of a cryptographer. We say, "There's no one better to trust your cryptographic decisions with than a cryptography;" help us get that point across.
Not only is your expertise in marketing and advertising going to come into play, but also your grasp of the English language. To precisely get our point across into Brazilian Portuguese, you'll need to thoroughly absorb the training experience which will be conducted entirely in English. In cryptography, accuracy and precision are everything; it's no different with Extorque.
It's going to be quite a journey - a two-year journey, at that - but if you're up for the rewarding challenge, and the benefits that follow it, don't hesitate to send us your curriculum vitae, at training@extorque.com.
